“When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in” (Joshua 6:5). Maybe you woke up this morning about to give up because you think your situation is impossible. Maybe you were thinking, "My problem is insurmountable, and what I've asked God for is just too big to believe for." I sympathize with you, but realize that nothing is too big for God. Don't take your eyes off of His promises. What if that obstacle is simply a barrier God has allowed in your life in order to shape you, stretch you and mold you for His purposes? Our job is to keep marching until He gives us the order to shout because our promise has arrived. And trust me, it will!
