Propel...Passion, Purpose, Potential!

If you have never seen Christine Caine speak, you need to look for an opportunity to go to one of her conferences, find her online, or at the very least...read one of her books! She is a fiery preacher and amazingly passionate about her God-given purpose which is to seek justice for the over 27 million women and children being sexually trafficked in the world today. The first time I heard her speak was in 2008 at a Willowcreek Leadership Conference where she talked about the A21 campaign. A21 is a non-profit organization that exists to abolish injustice in the 21st century. Her passion is made even more impactful because she 'walks the talk'. Christine's passion to abolish injustice is the same passion that helps her see new opportunities and new possibilities. And now that passion has expanded into a new online magazine called:

Propel

The mission and vision of Propel is “Helping women internalize a leadership identity & fulfill their purpose, passion & potential.”

It is based on three scriptures:

PASSION Passion is the active and vibrant expression of individual giftings and talents that invigorates an unreserved extension of the heart and hand.“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23
PURPOSE Purpose allows us to respond to the call over our lives and is the driving force behind what we’ve been prepared in advance to do. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
POTENTIAL Potential is the untapped, God-given power in us to multiply all that we have been entrusted with. It is the residing capacity that propels us beyond horizontal boundaries and is released by limitless nature of God. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

Next month, FWF will be hosting a "Propel Chapter Launch Party" where we will be sharing the vision of Propel, showing the sample of the curriculum and talking details about our Propel-Staten Island Chapter. We will be meeting in both Brooklyn and in Staten Island, so...no, you don't have to live in Staten Island to join, but you do have to be willing to travel when the meetings are held there. In the words of Victor Hugo, “there is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.” The Bible defines that as a kairos moment: a right and opportune moment. It is a God ordained event that interrupts the status quo and shows us something we have never seen or acted upon.

It's going to take a strong movement of brave women graciously galvanized around the advancement of their sisters to see the daughters of the Kingdom arise to their rightful place in leadership in every sphere of influence in this generation.
